Susan
G. Komen: Breast Cancer 3-Day
It's a weekend of hope, as we honor
lives lost, celebrate survivors, promote breast cancer
research, and help bring breast cancer care to those
who so desperately need it. Every year in the United
States, breast cancer claims nearly 40,000 lives. Who
has been affected in your life? A mother, sister, daughter,
friend? The Breast Cancer 3-Day is your chance to go
the distance in the fight against this disease.
Walk For Hope
Walk for Hope to Cure Breast Cancer is a family-oriented
walk and run - including 5k/10k timed events and leisure Walks
- to support breast cancer research at the City of Hope National
Medical Center and Beckman Research Institute, a National Cancer
Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. Walk for Hope
is supported by people of all ages. Many participants walk in
pairs, in teams, with strollers, pets, wheelchairs - all dedicated
to supporting breast cancer research at City of Hope.
